My name is Kulvir Jandir, and I was born and raised in Milpitas, California. I’ve been fascinated by how things work my whole life. At a very young age my curiosity and interest in mechanical devices led me to take things such as remote controlled cars, lawn mower engines, and bicycles apart and put them back together. By the time I was in high school I had developed enough skills to build my own motorized bike. Inspired by early innovators such as Henry Ford, I built a simple yet effective machine to transport me anywhere I’d like. During my years at the University of California Davis I honed my engineering skills and became proficient at welding, machining, and designing complex mechanical devices. Simply put the spark of interest in machines that I had within me at a young age slowly turned into a passion to create and innovate and has now made me who I am today:  A Mechanical Engineer.
